For the same smartphone, Samsung sometimes uses both Snapdragon and as well as Exynos processors. The same is the case with the Samsung Galaxy S20 series. The devices come with both Snapdragon 865 and Exynos 990.
New reports suggest that Samsung may use Exynos 992 that the company is currently working on. Samsung may introduce the new chip later this year and as per the sources, the Exynos 992 is believed to be more power-efficient than Exynos 990.
Exynos 992 might be manufactured using Samsung’s 6nm process. The already launched Exynos 990 came with a 7nm architecture.
There were lots of complaints from users that the same phone with two different processors are having performance differences. The Samsung Galaxy S20 with Snapdragon 865 tend to perform better than the Exynos 990 variant. Although Samsung has denied the claim, it is still found to be true. Many videos on YouTube have already pointed out the same.
Talking about the Samsung Galaxy Note 20, no much information is available yet. A recent Geekbench listing suggests that Samsung Galaxy Note 20 will come with 8GB of RAM and the latest version of Android, version 10.
There are also chances that it might get delayed as the supply chains and other processes are stopped due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Meizu’s Chief Marketing Officer Wan Zhiqiang shared on Weibo that this year there won’t be a Snapdragon 865+. There are also chances that Samsung is working on the new chip due to this.
